This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and hard working electrical engineer, to gain vital hands on experience of technical design projects, working with the Pre-Construction team of a dedicated HVAC specialist. Their bread & butter is commercial and industrial HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) and mechanical services, with an emphasis on designing and building comfortable, efficient environments where people and businesses can thrive.

Key information for you 

Our client has a small but very knowledgable team of design engineers & estimators, who work colaboratively to produce estimates and quotes to a high degree of detail and accuracy. Their typical projects are a mix of stage 3-4 tenders, as well as design and build across a variety of project sectors. Their project values range from anywhere in the £100,000s to £3.5 million for M&E packages. To show how varied their work is, They work closely with some of the biggest names in fit-out contracting in London, but also have a big portfolio in CAT A&B warehouse/lab projects too. What sets our client apart is that you will be given the trust to work from home with a flexible working scheme, rarely seen with contractors. 

What we're looking for

An Engineer with a minimum of 18 months relevant industry experience, capable of utilising CAD to a high degree, and producing detailed M&E design packages as part of an effective pre-construction team. Our client are open bringing in someone from either a consultancy or a contractor background, and they will provide you with all the support you need to become the best Design Engineer possible. Perhaps most importantly, you will need to be able to work effectively as part of a team, and have a positive attitude towards problem solving, finding solutions to design problems.
