LGV Class 1 Driver

General details & requirements:
- This will be Wagon and Drag night trunking work, usually starting between 17:00-21:00. – full training will be provided by the customer.
- Shifts will generally be Monday to Friday, with some occasional weekend shifts available.
- In addition to driving Wagon and Drag vehicles you will also drive LGV1 artic vehicles occasionally.
- You must be 25 years of age or older for insurance purposes.
- You will be required to pass an assessment.
- We will need to provide our customer with a 5 year work history.
Candidates must have the following documents:
- UK C+E licence – ideally with 1 year of practical experience but new drivers are also welcome to apply.
- UK Digital tachograph card
- UK CPC card
Payment information:
Please note this position is PAYE only:
- Monday to Sunday, first 8 hours - £21.40
- Overtime after 8 hours - £26.47
- 6th Day - £31.53
- Night Shift allowance - extra £11.76 per shift
- Minimum 8 hours guaranteed
- A 1 hour break will be deducted after the minimum hours worked
- Weekly payments every Friday
