Timeline

  • 2004
    Founded

    In April 2004, Streamline was Founded by Sue Hopwood, Lee Griffiths, and Matthew Pask

    Our office was in Romford Essex. We specialised in CAD Recruitment, and LGV Driving recruitment. Our year 1 Turnover was £621K, with 5 Members of Staff. This was Accounts, Payroll and the recruitment sections, and the start of a fantastic Journey. 

  • 2011
    Early Years

    For the first 7 years there was a clear focus on CAD, Design, Driving and Industrial Recruitment. Through Hard work, Streamline grew organically, with a headcount of 12 Members of staff.

  • 2014
    New Office

    We opened a new Office in 2014, With 20 members of staff and a Turnover of 8.4 million.

    The building blocks of a truly reputable brand had been laid.

  • 2015
    Launching M&E Contracting

    In 2015 and with 2 active offices, we launched M&E Contracting, we grew to a team of 28 with a turnover of 9.5 million, and again increased in 2016 with a additional 3 hires totaling 31 Members of staff and a turnover of 11.5.

  • 2017
    Liverpool Street

    2017 see us open our 3rd office, and now Head office in the City of London, close to London Liverpool Street. As a business, we wanted to be in the Centre of the capital with access to our clients and candidates. Our Turnover grew to over £13 million.

  • 2018 – 2019
    £14 Million

    2018 to 2019 we maintained our headcount and our turnover increased to over £14 Million.

  • 2020
    Covid-19

    2020, we had our best-ever Q1. COVID-19 hit the world and changed the course of everything in 2020. We managed to navigate our way through this and ended up with a reputable Turnover of £10.8 Million. Our Headcount was reduced to 20 Members of staff during this very challenging time.

  • 2021
    Hiring Organically

    2021 As we come out of Covid 19, we went back to what we know and grew by 3 new Hires organically and invested in a Marketing / Social Media Department. Our Turnover grew to £11.3 Million

  • 2022
    Kent Office

    In 2022 we have again seen organic growth, We have added a New office in Kent, and our headcount, In our London office has grown by an additional 4 taking us to a headcount of 29. The journey is still as exciting as when we started and look forward to the future success of Streamline.
