Hi, I’m Nick, the Planning Manager for the Driving desk which is based in the Tilbury office. I oversee the day-to-day planning for the Driving desk. This involves assisting our customers with their requirements and trying to find the most suitable roles for our candidates. 

I recruit for all LGV driving roles, including categories C1, C and C+E. This can also include specialist roles such as ADR and HIAB. I’ve now been working at Streamline for over 13 years. I started off in the accounts office and then later moved on to the Driving desk where I initially trained as a Planner, before being given the opportunity to take up my current role.  

I feel that honesty and integrity are imperative when it comes to building relationships with candidates and customers, which is ultimately what recruitment is all about. The Driving recruitment sector is very diverse and I strongly believe that everyone should be given an equal opportunity to succeed. When I escape from the office I love to get out in the countryside to do some trail running, explore new places, and listen to music as I go. I’m also a big foodie and love to get in the kitchen and experiment with different types of cuisine, often leaving a trail of destruction in my wake!
