Road Freight Coordinator

Streamline Recruitment are looking for an experienced Road Freight Coordinator for our client, an international Freight Forwarder based in Stanford -Le-Hope.
Working hours; Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Responsibilities:
- Handling European groupage services
- Coordinate and manage the movement of freight from origin to final destination, both international and national
- Liaising with customers, overseas partners and suppliers
- Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance with regulations and legal requirements
- Track and monitor shipments, providing real-time updates to customers
- Address any issues or delays promptly and implement effective solutions
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
Skills required:
- 2 years+ experience European road freight
- Experience with French imports/exports would be desirable
- Capable of manually calculating costs and charges
- Understanding of taxable kilos
- Good customer service skills
- Experience with Customs paperwork
- Ability to work in a team but also be self-sufficient
