Contract Manager

Streamline Services are currently recruiting for a dedicated Contract Manager on behalf of our client, to look after the South East region. 

You'll be responsible for fostering valuable customer relationships, ensuring mutual benefits across various fronts including customer service excellence, cost optimization, profitability, safety standards, continuous improvement, and business growth. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategically manage and expand existing customer accounts, devising commercial strategies to meet and exceed profit targets. Collaborate with site leadership to review commercial agreements, provide operational support, and conduct productivity analyses.
• Lead negotiations with customers to establish favourable terms aligned with company objectives, covering pricing, service levels, and performance metrics.
• Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting to performance monitoring, ensuring compliance and minimizing legal and financial risks.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts, developing contingency plans to address unforeseen circumstances.
• Monitor contract compliance and performance metrics, implementing tracking mechanisms to assess vendor performance and drive optimization.
• Analyse logistics costs and pricing structures, identifying opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining quality.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
• Ensure contractual KPIs are met and exceeded.
• Manage key contract risks and escalate issues when necessary.
• Maintain regular and effective communication with key customer personnel.
• Maximize revenue opportunities by promoting our full range of services.
• Oversee all aspects of people management processes, including recruitment, performance management, and training.
• Develop colleagues through delegation and coaching, identifying high performers and planning for succession.
