Streamline Recruitment are looking for a Data Entry Clerk on behalf of our client, a global freight forwarder, based in Durham.
This is a full-time permanent position, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, Salary is between £20,000-£24,000 dependent on experience. You will be working in the Air & Sea division where you will be responsible for;
Responsibilities:
- Collating data and entering it onto the companies in house software programme
- Organising and distributing the incoming post
- Answering telephone calls from customers, shipping/air lines and other third parties
- Scanning, printing and filing documents both electronically and physically
- Ensuring that data inputted is accurate and correct, if any errors are noted, making sure this are rectified as quickly as possible
- Updating internal documents using Excel
- General administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Previous Data Entry/Admin experience would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided
- Computer literate
- Good communication
- Attention to detail
