Freight Coordinator

Streamline Services is partnering with a global freight forwarder to recruit an experienced Freight Coordinator to join their expanding team based in Tamworth. Key Responsibilities:

• Handle the full import process from origin to destination, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of goods, with a focus on imports from Germany, France, and the Netherlands.
•  Act as the key point of contact between customers, overseas partners, and suppliers, ensuring that all parties are kept informed throughout the logistics process.
• Complete customs entries, declarations, and other necessary documentation to comply with UK and international regulations. Ensure that all paperwork is accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
• Respond efficiently to customer queries, addressing any issues that may arise throughout the import process and providing timely updates to all stakeholders.
• Manually calculate costs and charges associated with the import operations, ensuring accuracy in all invoicing and billing tasks.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in import freight forwarding or logistics, ideally with a focus on European imports.
• Customs Knowledge: Hands-on experience with customs documentation and procedures, with a good understanding of import regulations.

Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 

£28-32k dependent on experience.
