Yardman

Our client, a leading production company, is seeking a reliable and hardworking Yardman to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the yard area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and safe. This role involves handling various tasks including loading and unloading materials, operating forklifts, and assisting with inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the yard area.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products using forklifts or other equipment.
• Assist in inventory management, including tracking and recording stock levels.
• Ensure that all materials are stored safely and comply with company safety standards.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on equipment and report any issues.
• Assist with general maintenance and repairs around the yard and facility as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely and efficient operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a  industrial environment.
• Valid forklift operator certification is preferred.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.

Monday - Friday 08:00-17:00

£28-30k, + benefits !
